Mission Statement

The competence center Vision Research and its workgroup of the same name concerns itself with the visual system and its possible disfunctions, especially the developement and validation of examination and therapy processes.

Special focal points include:

• To develop and improve diagnostic, therapeutic and rehabilitative devices, processes and measures for patients with visual pathway lesions or other impairments.
• To gather and characterize correlations between structure/morphology and sensory functions.
• To analyse everyday visual challenges as well as questions regarding performance and quality of life.

The work group feels equally committed to the research, teachings and care of those that are affected.
